Just wondering.....what is your phone ettiquete like at your job? I work behind a desk and if i'm on the telephone, I don't expect people to interrupt me and talk while i'm talking on the phone or stand in my doorway waiting for me to hang up the phone- even (goodness forbid) it's a personal phone call.
If you need to speak with a co-worker do you come back in a few moments to speak with them, hover over their desk waiting for them to hang up or do whatever you can to get their attention while on the phone just waiting to have a conversation while they're on the line?
It seems to be the norm here that no matter what you're talking about on the phone, even the 95% of the time i'm on the phone for business, I get interrupted or someone is pacing outside of my door. What about your office??
