A late Start on our 2008 Pop Trip!!! Photo Report!

I have been looking through our 2008 pics to tide me over until we leave in 39DAYS!!! So I thought iw ould do a Photo Report of them!!! Keep me busy for a little bit too!!

Our trip was April 16th - 24th 2008.

Our cast Includes:

DH - Corey 37 - His 5th trip to the world and first time with the kids on vacation ANYWHERE!

Me - Jackie 35 - My 4th trip to the world and first time taking the kids there!

DD - Gracie 5 - Her first trip!

DS - Jack 7mo - His first trip!

We flew out of Indianapolis on the 16th at 7am and landed in Orlando around 9am. It was me, Gracie and Jack's first plane ride and I felt QUITE sick on the landing. The kids did great. Gracie slept the whole way down and Jack watched a Baby Einstein movie.

Day #2 we went to MK in the morning and rode Slpash Mountain, POTC and saw Jesse and Woody. We left and went back to the room for a swim before heading to Epcot to do the World Showcase and have dinner. We went back to Mk for Wishes but it was TERRIBLE. It took longer than we anticipated and they were PACKED, it had already started and we had to walk behind the buildings to get to tomorrowland and there was NO WHERE to stand. We were Hungry and nothing was open. We had turkey legs for dinner. We learned a valuable lesson, just because you have the hopper does not mean you ahv eto be out as long as humanly possible.

Your pictures are wonderful! Your children are so cute. I'll bet that Gracie had a magical time! I'll bet Jack slept well all those nights! We are going May 5 to 12 and staying at Pop Century. Let me know what you thought of it. My youngest DD10 can't wait to get the frozen cokes. We're definitely buying the mugs again. I think that is one of the better deals there! Post more pics, please!! Need my fix! (LOL, of Disney of course)

Okay I am tryingt his again. The other day i had a HUGE post and lost it, GRRR!!!

Day #3

We got a late start, around 11am. We got caugth up on our sleep that day! We were spending the whole day at MK but were not aware that they closed at 6pm for Grad night.

This was also our Tye Dye Mickey day!

After they rode the carpets (twice), we went and got FP for the Jungle Cruise and Corey left his ticket in the machine. We walked all the way to BTMR to get FP before we realized it and he ran all the way back and it was still in the machine, That coulda been BAD! After that we were much more careful.

Day #4 was DHS day!

We arrived around 10am. DH and Gracie rode Star Tours first, then we went to Muppets 3-D. After that is was to HISTK set, the we went to see Ariel! After Little Mermaid was over, we went and got FP for Tower of Terror(for Dh and Gracie) for 5:20-6:20. Then we headed to see PHD . After PHD, they had a meet and greet in front of the hat where we saw mary Poppins, Mulan and Pocahontas(These are Gracie's fav's). We went to check out the single rider line for RnR, it was about 5:15pm. It said 30 min so Dh went ahead and rode. He got out at 6:16 and they RAN to TOT because their FP was until 6:20. TG they are so close!!! Gracie rode but did NOT want to ride again! Tough Girl! After that we went back to the resort swam, had dinner and went to bed!

Day #5

We slept in because we were doing late EMH's that night. We got some Mickey Waffles and hit the arcade! After that we went to the Pop playground and let the kids play. On our way back to the room we all played in the pop jet fountain. We did this several times, as many times as we swam,

Then we went back and all got showers and took a nap so we would be all rested for our late(2am) night!

We got to MK about 5pm and hit Casey's for some grub! After that we headed to Gracie's BBB appt. As we walked around the back of the castle there was Lady Tremaine! Grace was in her Cinderella dress and she was scared to go up to her... It was funny. Lady tremaine told her she looked better in her dress than "someone else". After she walked away she said "She wasn't so bad".

We went for Gracie's BBB appt and she LOVED it! After her appt she and her Daddy(her prince) danced behind the castle. Then we went to the carousel and she was picked by a dream team member to be honorary Princess and lead the carousel riding Cinderella's horse. I tell you we could not have planned someting this awesome for her. She was BEAMING. It was true Disney magic!
After that we went and had our VERY FIRST Dole Whip...YUM! We watched Wishes and Spectromagic then Gracie had a belly ache from to much junk. We went to Cosmic Rays and had chicken which made her belly feel better. Then we went and got wristbands and rode: Buzz Lightyear, Monsters Inc, Astro Orbiter, Speedway(3 times), Tea Cups, Peter pan, Small World and on the way out we saw Goofy and Pluto. This was our really magical night. We had a wonderful time.
