A kinda live TR 18/8-1/9/14

Well I didn't do very well with the live trip report but will try harder with a kinda real one!
Today is our last full day,most of the packing is done and we will be picked up at 1.30 to begin the journey home. We are supposed to arrive in Newcastle at 6 am Tuesday.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. We are huge I-Drive fans (being able to walk for dinner and drinks sells it to us - plus the bus service is superb) and have stayed at the Rosen Inn twice thus far. I don't think you'd find better value for money than there (booked it for part of our 2015 trip, too!). Like you, have only been to the bar there once and found it rather like Butlins so never bothered again

Yes, I agree the buses were great value too. We had a mixture of I drive & lynx, once we wanted to leave us/IOA before the shuttle bus was due, we walked to idrive an got the i ride, enjoyed the walk too. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were lovely.

We'll we are here at Sanford should have been flying at 5.10 but were greeted with a 5 & 1/2 hour delay. No rep available but girl on check in told us it was due to crew rest!! We are here as is plane but crew on a break. Given $8 for food, only the bar open so sat with a zinfidell wishing the hours away. This airport is such a jinx for us.
