A juicy bit of pin gossip!!!!

Matthew just called our local Disney Store to make sure they would be carrying the new pin series coming out in a few weeks. He was talking to a very helpful cast member that filled him in on everything that is coming out and also what we thought was a pretty cool thing they are talking about doing...

10 stores nationwide will start having cast member trading like they do in the parks and if it is a success, they will be doing it company wide!!!! It could be starting as early as mid October!!!

Um......Leslie.........I think I've been in the Milford store twice. West Farms and Meriden are the 2 I'm at the most. Buckland hills would be 3rd as I get my Archery supplies at a place near there.

I really hope CT or at least Mass. have one of the trial stores. Sounds like a pin meet in the making guys!!!!

It is true I was told personally by our district manager. I hope it takes off I know I will be the pin trader in our store.

I'm glad someone else has heard about this. My Mom heard something about lanyards about a month or so ago via her store manager who heard it from their district manager. I didn't want to say anything on the boards because it was so sketchy.

It will be interesting to see if it can work in the stores. With only a couple lanyards per store (compared to hundreds in the park) one "bad apple" could easily strip a region's lanyards and I can't imagine the stores having the same ability to "refresh" as the parks do. I wonder if they will have a rule that you could only trade one or two pins a day to help combat that.

of course they will not be found at the CT stores because some of us "north of the border"" will have scoffed them up already at our local MA store. Purely wishful thinking on your part - the Three Caballeros ....... and Dom need to come "north of the border" one of these days!!!!! Caroline
