For all the hard work and thought she put into making this a special event for Mean Laureen (Lauri)... It was her idea to have some one proxy for Lauri, and to have Ed be here "stand in" down here..(he did look lovely didn't he??)...

Peggy sewed, cut paper. (for the wigs) even though we helped a little (and I do mean a little) did all the planning, and it turned out GREAT!!!

On the other hand..she single handedly put together the Chef Mickey gathering, which was another great success....right down to the "mystery" birthday song.. We sang our hearts out to a little cake and candle...and from the looks of the icing draining down its' side, it seemed to be crying w/ joy..

Sooooooo Peggie thank you for all you did, you made a lot of people very happy, and I suspect Lauri is at the top of that list

We all missed Lauri (and Matt), but it was Peggie who came up with a way to share our fun.

I told Peggie how much I admired her for putting this all together; she spent a lot of her own time during the event, going around and making sure she took pictures, and really acted like a "proxy" for Lauri.

And dinner at Chef Mickey's was great, including the melted icing--Thanks, Peggie!!
