Anyone driving to So-Cal from southern New Mexico or Texas can expect a major detour starting early April.
I-10 will be closed from Benson Az to Tucson for bridge replacement. The detour will take you on a scenic route down Az90 to 82 (Whettstone) West on 82 to Sonoita,then north on 83 back to I-10 for a total of 67 miles.
Like I said,kinda scenic,the southern part of 83 isn't bad but gets kinda twisty further up the road. Not sure how long it will take them,will bring up-dates as they come.

UPDATE,demolition starts tonight at 9:00PM and will continue until 7:00AM.
