A Happy Thread as we approach Thanksgiving

What a great thread! Thanks for starting it Doctor P!

I am thankful for an amazing wife and a son who is a true blessing from God! We adopted our son in April of 2003 and we can't imagine life without him! We'll be taking him to WDW in a little over a week! God has blessed us richly and we hope to be a blessing to others.

Thanks again Doctor P for letting us share our blessings!

I'm am so thankful for having such a wonderful DH and the beautiful 3 children we have: DS 8, DS 7 and DD 12 mths.

We have good jobs and are able to live in a comfortable house in the most beautiful State.

We have great family and friends.

I am thankful for my four wonderful children and an equally wonderful DW. Plus the fact that I am sitting here in my villa at the BWV's writing this and being able to share this great place with my family.

What a beautiful thread. :)

I am thankful for:

- faith that has carried us through hard times
- the most amazing husband in the world and 13 (lucky! LOL) years of marriage
- a great son who at almost 12 is teaching me to stretch my expectations and ways of thinking
- overall good health for everyone in our family
- a lovely little house in a safe neighborhood
- family and friends who love me
- two cats and a crazy dog who help fill our home with laughter and love
- the ability to take family trips together to the happiest place on earth -- a tradition we started 6 years ago and hope never to break!

Have a wonderful, blessed holiday everyone!! :)

My wife and I are thankful for many, many things.

I think this year I would like to single out our fantastic military personnel and their families.
After all, without them, all the other things we are thankful for may not exist.

God has been very good to me....17 years with my handsome and wonderful hubby, 4 healthy kids, a comfortable home in a great community. Family and friends too numerous to count. A free and gorgeous country to live in. Many special pets that have touched my life throughout the years. Lots of super vacations, at WDW and other places, and many happy memories. :) Lacee

I’m thankful for my loving wife
She gives such meaning to my life.
She blessed me with a wonderful son
He makes each and every day so much fun.
I’m thankful for the boards called DIS
‘Cuz that’s where all the action is.
The members that offer such sound advice
Most of you are really nice.
I’m thankful for that man named Walt.
I understand “Eisner” is not his fault.
I’m truly thankful for DVC.
You’ll have to agree it’s the place to be.
I’m thankful for “Old Key West”.
‘Cus in my mind, it’s the very best.
I’m thankful for the life I live.
Because of that, I’ve so much to give.

Thanks for this thread that made me think.
And I hope my poetry doesn’t stink! LOL!

Just two of many things that come to mind a healthy 81 year old father and a good relationship with my step-daughter. Two things I treasure.

Oh and this year in particular I'm thankful that I haven't had to nuke my thyroid and am progressing on ATDs instead. That may not mean much to anyone, but having a rotting thyroid in my neck or having my neck cut open to remove it is just a really gross thought to me. So I'm really thankful I feel so much better.
