What I am trying to say is ...... 40!!!!

Neither 39 or 41 but ....... 40!!!

Not that I'm making a big thing of it, of course.

I still love the old thing though. I'm just off to fetch her a rug for her legs now.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for all your kind birthday wishes. Just to say I had a brilliant day - lots of great cards and presents and then 18 of us (including the girls) had champagne at home then went to a restaurant for a lovely meal - before returning home to party. The partying consisted of lots of alcohol, music and looking silly doing Eye Toy games!! Well I got carried away on the Eye Toy, but Kev maintained his cool, aloof demeanour throughout the evening and abstained from making a prat of himself - mind you this was probably because he was worried someone would steal his beer!!

So Annie - no cocoa last night - just champagne and red wine and I'm pleased to report no bad head this morning.

Deb - have I told you before your my bestest friend - and the drinks are on me on the 24th

Mike - Hope you enjoy your 40th as much as me. 40 ain't so bad so far and after all you'll be in Florida so that'll ease the pain.

Jules - grey hair - well not so far but hey it could all be down hill from now on.

Matt - I agree what am I doing putting up with such an old man. I'm such a saint putting up with him - no one else would do it. Looking forward to seeing you both on the 24th too.
