We were at Disney from February 23-March 1 and stayed on property with our 3.5 year old and 4 month old. We hadn't been to the world since Christmas week in 2007.
Overall, huge success! We had zero issues with our magic bands or fast passes. We did have park hoppers, and like everyone else, having selections at multiple parks would have made the trip more enjoyable. However, we still did just about everything we wanted. We had planned on more afternoon breaks, but we were having such a good time in the parks that it didn't really happen. The Magic Kingdom was extremely crowded on Friday, February 28 in comparison to the rest of the week and lines were LONG, but it was our last day, so we stayed till around 1030 and hit everything we wanted to do one last time.
We had great meals, were very happy with our room at Pop, filled 2.5 autograph books, ate in the castle, met Anna and Elsa, and rode tons and tons of rides. A fabulous first trip as a family, and we are already itching to be back.
So just remember, for every negative report you hear, there are plenty of happy guests as well.
