I'll be wearing a wool sweater tomorrow for the funeral--it's only going to be 65 here. I think someone forgot that this is July and it is supposed to be in at least the 80's.

So you're getting the weirdo weather too? Huh. I'm just waiting for the snow flurries to start. Then I can say that I've seen it all. Sigh.

!st - Kari.. I live in NC too. I live in Salisbury.. otherwise known to my family as SMALLSBURY!!!

Me too, me too!!!

Christine (Minnie&Nana) is from Greensboro. Small world!

No offense... but how in the world can people stand to go to WDW, and not go into the parks???? :scared1: I did it in Oct, but we went to Sea World, and had our cruise to look forward to. I think I would be depressed to be that close to MK for days, and not go into the park.

I know of guests who enjoy the resort and not go to any parks...but...personaly, I could stay at an MK Resort and only go to MK, relaxing the rest of the time and enjoying the monorail resorts....or maybe staying at YC and enjoying EPCOT....but not so sure about that scenario.

What a day!! Sophia is teething (she has 6 so far) and has not been able to fall asleep, even though she is exhausted! we do not out her in a crib to cry, she falls asleep in my arms and then put her down, usually on my bed (she is not used to a crib yet). Bring on my bed means I do not leave the room for a second - so, it's easier when she is awake and playing. LOL She plays very well by herself - almost too well, b/c sometimes I forget to get down and play with her!

Anyhoo, that's my day so.

How's the DP decsion coming, Tracy?? Any leaning toward one or the other?

I keep thinking I'd like to try to QSDP (is that right?), but fear I'd miss having one TS a day.....but the portions used to be so huge that my friend and I would share. I've heard this year Disney has lessened the portions - anyone know about that? Panotchr, did you notice any change in the CS meals?

Hoping it's a good rest of the day, my friends!

TWO!!!! Why didn't you call and ask me over for lunch?:lmao:

I'm getting ready to make one now (with some tomato soup to go with it) I'll make one for you too, but you'll have a bit of a drive to come get it!

I love tomato soup (and Tracy, The Plaza Restaurant at the MK has terrific tomato soup!). I think I need to go fix me some lunch now. Thanks for the invite...but I think it will be cold by the time I get there.

I haven't done any planning. Just not into it today. :sad2:

Mmmmm. Tomato soup. With grilled cheese and onion sammiches. ::yes:: The Plaza restaurant? Hrm.... off to go find that. I told you, I was all about the rides. I don't know about any of these restaurants! Argh. pirate:

Tomato soup... :crazy2: My family used to cook it every Sunday afternoon when I was growing up. Now I get queasy at the smell of it! But I am thinking about egg drop soup with mine! Or I may get the egg drop soup tonight with dinner... I have been craving some Sesame chicken ever since Wendy's started running those commercials with the Asian chicken.

Sorry Sophia is having trouble with the toofers. Advil is your best friend right now! Tucker used to be that way about going to bed... I rocked him to sleep until he was close to 2. Then I would lay in the bed with him while he went to sleep. Then on the floor beside him. Took forever for him to learn to put himself to sleep. Avery was always totally different. From the very beginning, I could put her in the crib, walk out, and shut the door. To this day, she goes up to bed, and will be sound asleep when I come to tuck her in 3 minutes later. :cloud9:

That is the way I feel about bananas. I had to eat a banana a day when I was pregnant with Andy and now can't stand the smell of them. Whenever I make the guys banana bread, Mark has to smoosh the bananas for me (while I leave the room) and then stir them in after I've put all the other ingredients together.

LOL I feel that way about applesauce.

When I was in the monastery we had it several times a week for collation (a very light supper). I gagged on it then and stay away from ever sicne. Yuck!!:crazy2:

Yeah, well I don't feel that way about anything. I'm just a pig when it comes to food. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

My son too! He just called to say they ate at Rose & Crown and that it was wonderful. Especially the "Beer Sampler"...which consists of 7 little beers. :rotfl2::rotfl2:
