I'm thinking about a pirate room at CBR for our next trip, while the kids are still young enough to enjoy it. Don't tell Kathy! But I have 15 months to pickle over it!

That would be the coolest trip ever! :thumbsup2 I wanna be your kid! When I was a kid we stayed off site. I was really deprived. :rotfl2: Kidding. I'm just thankful I even made it to WDW. A lot of people don't. :sad2:

You are so right. Including me this year! :sad2::sad1:

I HEARD THAT! Seriously, I think the rooms are adorable for little boys and girls--and you should go for it. Just remember where your REAL home is! :rotfl:

My only issue is that I hate the resort. (Sorry Tracy and Christine!) We stayed there for 1 night, so I really didn't get to experience a lot of it. But, the buildings (Trinidad South) seemed on top of each other. And it seemed all concrete just like at the values. Worst thing was... we locked the car keys in the room while getting settled, only to find out our room key had erased somehow, and we couldn't get back in. We had to walk back to the front to get a new room key, then all the way back to the room. So my first trip to CBR was NOT magical. The next day we moved to CSR to start our vacation, and it was heavenly!

Then I hear such negative reviews on the food court at CBR, and I worry that my kids will not like the pool... stressful making these decisions!

Aw, that's okay, Kari. I used to love it, but too much changed. Now CSR is the one I find most beautiful! It does hold some wonderful memories though. :)

I never get the walking complaint either - especially from the deluxe complainers when they stay at a mod or value. HELLO..I've walked further at GF & AKL than any stay at a mod or POP!! GEESH!

Wish you guys could see Sophia right now - she is sitting sideways on my lap, clapping every time a post comes up...then she gets all excited and squeals!!

Okay, so far I have...

Planet Hollywood dinner for the hubby
Sci-Fi Dine-In for lunch
Narcoossees for 9pm dinner - fireworks baby!
Kona for breakie - must have muh macadamia pancakes
Biergarten for lunch
Chef Mickeys for late dinner
Cinderella's Royal table for anniversary dinner

I am presently debating on Hoop Dee Do. I'm running the figures right now to see which would be cheaper - dining plan or not. I am so cross eyed!
Cool! Those look great!
You are TOO funny! They are there and registered--took about 20 minutes. Room not ready, he has to call at 3:00 to find out room (I thought they had this new "text messaging" system?). They were told they are in Barbados 13??? At least that's what he thinks. Him and Nicole are eating lunch at the food court; Kevon, the baseball player, is with some of the other kids swimming already!
Cool! I'm so excited for them!:cool1:
Curious to know how CSR will compare to CBR. You know, CSR is the mod on the cusp of deluxe. I hear their toilets are a real step up from the other mods! :rotfl2:
I'm curious too. I think I would actually like the theming at CBR...I love a tropical feel. But the CSR has the queen beds whickh is a huge plus. I would also like to try the pirate rooms at CBR while the kids are still little and can enjoy them. It is so hard to go by the reviews, because the both seem to be "love it or hate it" resorts

:lmao::lmao: on the toilet....TRACY WILL NOT NEED TO SPEND ENOUGH TIME AT IT TO COMPARE!!!!
I hope this will be my best vacation ever. I sure need one! I just wish ya'll were going too. *sniff*
Yes it will!!!! And you will have such a wonderful time with your Hubby, that you won't want us there, but you can tell us all about it when you get back! (Well, not THAT part!!!:rotfl:)

Where???Here???You ladies make it feel like home!:grouphug:

That sounds just about as un-magical as Tracy praying to the Porcelain God.

I've never really gotten that either...If you don't want to walk, skip Disney!! And pretty much all of the resorts are spread out, which realy makes them feel less crowded. I like the deluxes for their locations, and that most have more than one transportation option, but can't really say it's less walking.

Aww..so cute!

Sorry? Good grief. For not liking CBR? That doesn't bother me in the least. I'm no super duper CBR defender. I gave my cape away last halloween. ;)

When we were swimming in the pool I looked over at the kiddie pool and thought it was the cutest thing and secretly wished I were a kid again so *I* could play in it! Honestly, I think the Poly is the ugliest hotel I've ever laid eyes on. Now the grounds, I've been told are out of this world. My BFF told me so and she wouldn't steer me wrong. Cause she knows I know where she lives!! :lmao: Nothing wrong with having an opinion. It's how you use it that matters. :thumbsup2

Yummmmmmmmmmm!! I can not wait to sink my little toofers into those pancakes. Oh man, the wait is torture!!!
