My wife and I have been together to Disney World together three times, and always in April and May. It's a great time to go when you factor in weather, crowds and costs.
For 2004 we want to try something different and go in the fall. By using this year's Disney schedule as a guide (since they haven't released 2004 dates, obviously), I'm thinking that early November is a great time to go. The Food & Wine Festival is still in full swing, Eat to the Beat is taking place, and the Disney Resort rates move into the Value Season.
Questions:
For those Disney veterans, is this a good time to go?
Does the Soap Weekend (scheduled for Nov 8-9 this year) create enough crowds so we should try and avoid that weekend? (Since we're not interested in it)
Do the Cheerleading Championships always take place in early December? (Another thing we want to avoid)
Finally, is there anything else that takes place in early November to consider?
Thanks for your help.
