A good map???

We've been down three times and stayed twice at Nick, once at WH. We're going again in Oct and will be staying back at WH again. I see everyone talk about a shortcut - but does anyone have a map of how to get around? When we go, I just go N. Old Lake to 192, take a right on 192 past the Wide World of Sports, onto World Drive, and north to the park of my choice. Can someone give me better directions / a shortcut? I always found I could get from the condo to MK parking lot within about 10 minutes this way (I think). Is the shortcut faster than that?!

It's shorter if you're going to Ak. but it isn't any longer using the shortcut for the other parks also.
Shortcut: instead of turning right on 192 turn left and go to the next set of lights and turn right on to Sherberth Rd. Go to the first set of lights and turn right ( if you turn left here you will go to AK Lodge) and you will be on Osceola Parkway and across from AK. Follow the signs to the rest of the parks. Be advised that after passing the entrance to AK they'll be a left turn coming up for the other parks. This left turn puts you on World Drive.
When you return from the parks head for AK Lodge and just before you get there you turn LEFT at the lights on to Sherberth Rd again and follow the way you came in back to WH.
There's also a way to go without going out on 192. If you're familiar with WH then you go up toward 192 but turn left onto Morgan Williams road and then within a few hundred feet turn left again on to Funie Steed Rd. At the Entry Point Rd intersection turn right and head up to 192. You will just have to cross the intersection and you'll be on Sherberth and then follow the directions above. It's easy after you do it once.

looks like you can are located off of 545 - Old Lake Wilson Rd -

Once on 545 I would turn left on Westgate Blvd - then turn right - go straight - Entry Point Drive (which on the other side becomes Sherberth Road)

as sympatico - it is shorter if you are going to AK. but at times it is shorter because the traffic on US 192 can get bad.

while you are at the light on US 192 (entry point is where you will be - with Sherberth Road across the street) - look across the street if SHerberth road road looks like it is busy (or the traffic is stopped) then just turn and go US 192.

this is a one lane road and has a high rate of accidents. very, very curvely and trucks are on it alot - so oil on this road is a big PROBLEM.

just go the speed limit - despite the people behind you trying to speed and you shouldn't have any problems.
