a GOOD customer service story(just had to share)

I grumble and complain just like everyone else when trying to deal with most electronics/media c.s., often overseas, never seems helpful, etc.

Well, a small, local company just pushed into our area with cable and internet, so we decided to give their internet a try. The installer was absolutely the best I've ever seen, meticulous, listened to my concerns, spent extra time solving my router issues, etc. AND he wouldn't take a tip, just said he was "doing his job". So I shot off an email to them, praising him, but didn't expect a reply.

Within 24 hours I had an email back from the CEO of the company that was obviously specific to my situation, thanking me, and hoping that I would continue to be happy with his company and it's service.

It is sad though that it is rare nowadays...
