A funny and telling comment heard at Disney

On our recent trip we were standing in line at one of the quick service locations. We overheard a woman talking to her friend about the dining plan. She said "it says it includes one non-alcoholic drink. What's that like coffee?"

Did she not know what a non-alcoholic drink meant or was it that the only time she is not drinking alcoholic drinks is when she has coffee?

I don't think it is either of those and not a telling comment. She probably didn't know what specific beverages Disney has that would be offered under the plan.

Maybe she was thinking of non-carbonated instead of non-alcoholic?

I figure that we have a whole sticky thread about what a "snack" is; it's not that surprising to find someone who wonders what a nonalcoholic drink is.
