A FUN Idea!! [Especially 4 Kids]

Alright! So everyone has seen the celebration commercials with the envelopes and the balloons blah blah lol. Well one day I was watching TV with my mom talking about our Fall trip to Disneyland when the commericial came on; she was quick to say "I want an envelope that spits out balloons!" which gave me this GREAT idea!!

I went to WalMart and got a fairly large empty used box.

I then went to my local dollar store and got two rolls of gold sparkled wrapping paper to wrap the box when I was done filling it.

I went on eBay and for $5 ordered some Mickey balloons then took them to my local grocery store and had them filled with helium.

I took my moms park hopper tickets that I had bought for the trip and put them in an envelope which I taped at the bottom of the box then shoved all the balloons in with a bunch of torn up streamers also from the dollar store. I then sealed the box up and wrapped it in the wrapping paper with a big tag with my moms name on it before leaving it outside her apartment door. She loved it! It only cost me around $12 to do and she was so happy. I could only imagine how a kid would react to this. TRY IT OUT!!

That is very cute. I would love to have that happen to me. My DS already knows we are going, but it would still be a way to kick off his trip.

What a fun idea! I actually did that once for my dad when he was in the hospital, I mailed him get well balloons, but I love the idea of doing it for Disney! Might have to do that for my kids when our tickets arrive!

Where were you before my DS 7's Mickey themed birthday last year?? I really coulda had fun with this!!

It is a fantastic idea, I only wonder when and how I can incorporate it into my everyday bag of tricks? Hmmm......

Awesome idea! Next time, I'm letting my kids know about the trip in exactly that way. When they open the box I'm hoping the balloons float up to the ceiling and the sign "You're Going to DisneyWorld" (yep next trip won't be the land) will be right around their face level. This is really a great idea, where kids can develop new ideas for fun and another idea for fun with balloons kids can create their own designs on the balloons and play with them. And I will also use this idea with my new creativity.
