A fried what!?!?!?!

Folks, I'm livin' life on the edge these days...had my first fried twinkie today.

First a toe ring, then a pedicure and now a fried twinkie. Somebody stop me!

Seriously, it was pretty darn good. I can feel those preservatives coursing through my veins as I type.

Fried twinkies and snickers are great. Also try deep frying oreos. They are my favorite.

On the meat side of things deep fried prime rib is amazing.

I've never had one, Missy. Was it any good? I've never had a pedicure either. I had a toe ring, but it got on my nerves.

Will be on the lookout for snickers and oreos. Prime rib is too close to the meat family for me but I'll take your word for it. Will get up the courage for a fried pickle one day. I think.

tc, no tattoos or piercings. Yet. Give me time. Who knows what kind of person has been inside of me all this time. All I will say is I'm looking forward to the journey and making friends all along the way.

JP - a fried ice cream with a cheesecake chimi is to die for. On those days that nothing else will do, it does.

I had fried pickles and fried snickers at the Minnesota State Fair last year......oh, YUM! I've heard about the twinkies, but haven't seen any around these parts to try.

Only three months to go until State Fair time! Oh, Dan....ya gonna make it this year?

Yes. You can just use standard pancake batter or pretty much any other type of batter you want to use.

I have also had deep fried cheesecake (wonderful), deep fried pie, deep fried cheese, deep fried bananas, etc.

The key is to try different things. If you are bored some evening just fire up the deep frier, whip up some batter, and start going through the fridge and cupboards. It is always good to have a few guinie pigs around as well.
