Sad it is over, :sad1: I look forward to your next trip and next report. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.

Great report! Now I have to try to get ADR's for Kona! That steak looks TDF!

She informed me that as a child I was very sensitive to fleas and that they would cause a huge reaction in me and not bother anyone else. Good to know!

Isn't that the worst! My daughter and I both have this kind of reaction  Sorry that it happened to you on vacation! Your reviews are great though!

Thanks for a wonderful and tasty dining report. I love the Kona Cafe too and the coconut chicken is to die for!

I am definitely going to try the coconut chicken next time! the big fight will be over what appetizers and desserts to try!

Thanks very much for sharing your excellent reviews with us. I am not a huge fan of creme brulee, but I could be persuaded by one with chocolate on the bottom! That looked great. 1900 Park Faire sounds great too, I loved hearing about Mary Poppins' interaction with your girls.

Laur's princess:

That creme brulee put a whole new meaning into that dessert. I seriously think you should try it. As for 1900 Park Fare I think it will have to be a staple for our trips from now on. It just had the complete package for us. Thanks!

I look forward to my next dining report too! I only wish it could be sooner than 2010, but we need to diversify and space out our vacations.

Kona is now going to be a regular first day of the trip staple if we can swing it. We were very pleased with everything qabout this place.

It happened and at the time it sucked, but now when I think back to the vacation I hardly remember it at all! So I guess the moral of the story is, when things go bad on vacation, at Disney World the good memories are very likely to far outweigh the bad. I like those odds!

Just finished reading your reviews andI so needed to comment on the cast Member that would not give you a dollar amount of bill then proceeds to tell you do do it your self. I would have left 5% with a note that you paid yourself the additional 13-15% for your new job in accounting. If she/he was upset then good they got the message. I have seen servers make a scene if they were not left what they thought was a good tip. I worked as a server during college-- I did great on tips -- but I also was hired at a wage I knew before hand and a tip was the extra. There are some ppl that can not afford to go out to dinner or lunch and leave an additioal 20%. I was a struggling student so I understood. I happy to serve them tip or not as that is how the owner earned money, the same money he used to pay my wage. I so wish the servers today did not feel like they are entitled to a tip. ( I do know wages are not as high in restaurant business because of tips). Anyway So glad I got that off my chest :).

Great ending to your reviews, that steak at Kona looked so lovely. Hate to think how many WW points it would be though :guilty:

Still, have got 14 moths to lose it all so I may just have to treat myself to a meal at Kona next October :)

Thanks again for the reviews.
