Hi! Sorry for the silly question, but...

Can I pack my disposable cameras in my checked luggage? Just making sure they won't be damaged by some strong x-rays or other security mechanisms. I haven't flown in about 5 years, so thanks for the info!!! :flower:

An absolute no-no for checked baggage.

There have been few or no problems with cameras in carry on baggage brought through the security checkpoint. If the film is 800 or higher speed, take the cameras and any loose film cartridges out for hand inspection.

Thanks so much...I'll go remove them from the suitcase right now and squeeze them in my carry-on! So, 400 film is ok to go through checkpoint with no damage? Thanks :flower:

I wouldn't pack any film in your suitcase. The effects are cumulative and you don't want to lose your images. Why not take some prepaid mailers with you and mail them as you finish a roll? Then you wouldn't have to worry about it.
