Just returned from a 7 day cruise last week... A few tips I noted for our next trip:

Bring a roll of papertowels for the cabin

Bring a can of air freshener...small bathrooms, rich food...if you get my drift!!

Bring a sweater or warmer dining clothes. (Restaurants can be very chilly)

Bring umbrellas or rain coats...we got caught in a 15 minute downpour and were drenched to the bone!

Ok, maybe I'm being dense, but why bring paper towels for the cabin?

I have the solution to this one. Spare the rest of your family if it's going to be a nasty one and use the public bathroom. Disney does keep them clean. Don't forget to bring your camera along too! You never know if Mickey might have the same problem and he could be sitting in the next stall. You don't want to miss that Kodak moment.

Thanks for the tip about the sweaters. I am packing as we speak and was wondering if I needed to mess with sweaters. Erin

I packed a light weight cotton sweater for me and DD and they came in handy. The dining rooms weren't freezing cold but after a day in the sun AC can be chilly on sunburned skin.

I know what you mean about the air freshener- they wre mornings that I wish we had some!!!

The paper towels would have been handy for snacks brought back from Scoops and/or desserts brought back to the room. We were always washing out our soda mug, etc.......

I packed 2 sweaters since I had read it was chilly in the shows, restaurants etc and I never took them out of the suitcase...if anything when I went it was warmish everywhere.....all those people in the shows, lots of body heat!!!

I packed sweaters also and never used them (in Oct.). The girls (4,2,1) and I all wore sleeveless dresses every night also. The only place I found chilly was Palo's so wore my DH's jacket.

Here are a few of mine (from a 3 day and 4 day cruise, in September we do on our first 7 day!).

1. Night light for bathroom.
2. Beach/water shoes for CC
3. Laundry soap and dryer sheet (in case you need to do laundry)
4. Pop for in the room (first time I didn't know we would have a fridge in our room)
5. Basic sewing and first aid kits
6. Conditioner (I am use to soft water and the shampoo/conditioner combo didn't work well for me).
7. Zip Lock bags to put wet swim suits and water shoes in when we packed to go home (they weren't dry yet).
8. Cheap bucket and shovel for CC for the kids. (New so it was clean when I packed it).

That is all I can think of right now. Thanks for your suggestions, I will keep them in mind as I pack for our 7 day cruise.
