Do you pretty much have your choice of what time you want the rehearsal to be at, or do they assign you a time? About how long does the rehearsal last? Also, what time do dessert parties start at Epcot. We are cramming a lot into the day of our rehearsal, and are planning on having a light dinner at California Grill, then having the rehearsal, and then heading over to the DP. I am trying to figure out what time to make a reservation for at Cali Grill. I am thinking a 5:45 dinner at Cali Grill, then a 7:00 rehearsal, and then heading over to the DP. Does this sound like it would work or do we need more time?

I don't know the answer about having the rehearsal anytime (but would like to know that myself). I would say, if possible, to have the rehearsal in the afternoon followed by an early dinner. I always give us at least 1.5 hours for a sit down dinner, then you have to factor in travel time from location to location. I believe the rehearsal should last about an hour, and I believe Epcot dessert parties start at 8:30...but keep in mind you want to arrive a bit early to have enough time to walk to your location with your guide. I am having a 5:00 p.m. ceremony, but hope to have our rehearsal earlier than that so we can have an early dinner.

With your timeline now, you'd finish dinner around 7:15 ish, then would probably need 15 or so minutes of travel time to the rehearsal. Then an hour of rehearsal, and you're already at the DP starting time.

You have some choice in your rehearsal time, but it depends on other weddings that day, your planners schedule, etc. We are having ours early bc there are both a 2 and 5pm wedding at SBP the day before ours. So we are having to do it at 11am.

Disney will usually assign your rehearsal time based on what events are going on at that location. Ours was automatically set for 10am since our actual ceremony time was 10am the next day. There were also several weddings happening that day so we really wouldn't have had a choice on moving it to any other time.

You should find out at your planning session what time your rehearsal will be. :)
