My mind is failing me! Please help:)

So, for our trip the 14th to 21st. Fireworks scheduled 14th to 16th. Also scheduled apparently is rain. I am hoping that will change, but remind me again: Are fireworks always cancelled in the rain? Also, if firworks are a go, what time do you think a person should start to save seats for the show, if you want good seats(and where are these?), that the rest of the party can join at say 9:00. ( I will be saving 4 seats and will have a blanket and a stroller to assist.) I have seen the fireworks but never the "show" and this is a must do for me this trip if possible.

Also: We have two AP's from Costco, and two AP's from Disney website that we will be using. I think we have to go to a ticket window first and then through the gate. And then to the AP processing center. Does anyone know what sort of processing times we might expect midday on Sat. the 14th? Is there a better time to process than others? If we go to BB before processing, will we have something to show server that will still allow us to get our discount?

Thanks in advance!

Fireworks are determined by the wind. Thats all that is really considered unless its like POOOOURING like crazy. But that never happens. You should be fine. If your gonna hold seats, yeah, make sure you go extra early. saaay around 7:30-8 if you want the best seat. Personally, id suggest sitting a little to the right side of the castle(towards Tomorrowland) rather than the center. :)

as for APs if you have a ticket that has a barcode to scan, no need to go to the ticket windows, just go through the gate and they can scan it. If you go early enough, you should be able to get an AP without much wait. I personally would go asap and get it over with because the longer you wait, the longer the line might be.

Thank you Albort. Okay, I'm picturing in my head the area to the right, near tomorrow land. I remember there is one bench facing the rockets, because I remember DH sitting on it icing his ankle during our last trip. Is there another set of benches that would be ideal for sitting on during the show, that faces the castle? Thanks again!

We stood in the same area to watch the fireworks & people on the benches (all full by 8pm) were having to stand to see the show. They won't let people sit on the "street" so saving "seats" could be difficult. We went during a really busy time, so this was our experience. When the show time came closer, they had people start filling gaps & we were packed in pretty tightly. Don't know if that helps you or not, good luck, have a great trip!!

So is there a place to save a seat, where you can actually sit and watch, or should I just expect to sit until the show and then stand to watch.
