Hi everyone,

Returning to WDW after a couple years and since then I've seen many new policies all over the place regarding parking. Just a few quick questions hoping someone can help me with:

- I have reservations at Kona Cafe one night for dinner at the Poly. Would I need to pay to park to eat dinner? Wife and I wanted to get cocktails at Trader Sam's beforehand too....

- Wanted to grab breakfast on the Boardwalk one morning and then take the gondolas over to HS. Would I have to pay to park at the Boardwalk?

- If I park hop, do I have to pay each time I go to the next Park parking lot?

Thanks everyone!

You would not need to pay to park in a hotel parking lot if just there as a dinner guest. You typically are allowed 3 hours to park at a resort where you're not staying.

You may have to park at Swan or Dolphin to pull off leaving the car since they're not Disney hotels. Though I'm not sure what their long term policy would be for a situation like this.

When you pay for parking at one park, it's good for all parks for that day.

Part of the answer is the question of if you are staying onsite at Diseny, next question will be if you have a dining reservation. As mentioned you typically have a 3-hour window for your meal, but this is not meant to be used to go into the parks, you'll want to move your car after your meal for that. If your are staying on-site then parking at the park is included and you're covered at the other resorts. As for parking at the Swan, if you are eating at a Signature restaurant then you can get your parking validated, however for other parking fee for a Non-Registered Guest is $29.00 for each exit, I don't believe non-registered guest parking will cover you for the parks, but if you stay on site then parking is included.

If you have a breakfast reservation at Trattoria al Forno, you can park at Boardwalk free of charge but will be expected to move your car after you finish eating. The Boardwalk parking lot is not large enough to hold all the cars for people wanting to visit DHS or Epcot after breakfast.

If you don't have a reservation for breakfast, you will probably not be allowed to enter the parking lot, for the same reason - too many people wanting to park there and visit the parks.

You do not have to pay at each park. Keep your reciept.

Also not sure if valet is opened back up but you could valet at Boardwalk and leave it all day.

At least that used to be the rule. Also I believe the valet reciept may have been good at other resorts on the same day as well?
