Hi! I'm heading to dlrp with a friend tomorrow for four days and we are super excited, it's her first time and I haven't been since I was little so we have a few questions if anyone could help us out!

We're taking the Eurostar (via Lille) and this probably seems like a silly question, but as neither of us have been to St Pancras station before we were wondering which is the best way to get to it from Kings Cross? Also, is it easy to find your way around Lille Europe? I'm always nervous about getting lost in stations and missing the train, haha.

For checking in to the hotel, we're staying at the Sequoia Lodge and I have the confirmation letter printed off and the card that I paid with, is that all I need? I've seen breakfast in the park mentioned a few times on here which I hadn't heard of before, do they actually still offer it? And if they do is it only in high season?

When we leave we will be getting the TVG to Lille around 7pm, I read that there aren't any security checks so how long ideally should we be able stay in the park that day before going to the station?

I probably forgot like a million things, but any other advice or tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Can't help you out with the Lille questions but if I remember right Kings Cross and St Pancras aren't actually two separate stations - they're two parts of one big one. Follow the signs at Kings Cross and you'll be able to get to the Eurostar terminal easily. Everything should be well sign posted and if there's any problems then there's usually staff or PCSO's on the station who are happy to help.

yep, all you need is your confirmation letter to check in at the Sequoia Lodge. Yes, they still offer breakfast in the park, ask when you check in for dates and timeslots its available during your stay.

sorry can't help with the Eurostar questions, we've never used it.

We leave here tomorrow, but get the direct eurostar on Wednesday, might see you about, we are staying at the SL too :)

Kings Cross and St Pancras are part of the same station, literally across the road from each other. The International part is well signposted whether youo're coming on the tube or train. You should have absolutely no problems finding the Eurostar check-ins at all. :wave2:

Thanks a lot for the help everyone! It's a relief to know that it'll be easier than I thought to get to the Eurostar :p

And glad to hear breakfast in the park is still available! I'll be sure to ask when we get there.

Extremely easy to get between the Kings X and St Pancras areas and probably even better signposted now because of the Olympics!

I've been via Lille twice and it's really easy. You'll probably need to go up the escalator/lift to the main part of the station, then there's a massive departure board and you just wait for it to say the platform for your train and go back down the escalator/lifts again. There will I'm sure be lots of people with kids and luggage going in the same direction. Check on your ticket for your carriage number, then there's a sign on the platform that tells you where your carriage will stop so you are waiting in the right place.

Really easy and not like some UK stations where you suddenly realise platforms 9-12 are about a mile away around the back of WH Smiths!
