I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me figure a few things out. I was looking at the DIS points calculator where you plug in your dates and it said it would be ** points for us to rent a * at ***. Is this correct? If so, it is only about $200 more than the family sweet at All Star Music at $10 per point.

Does anyone know the maximum amount of people who are allowed to stay in a 1 bedroom villa? We will have four children and two adults. We are not worried about space, but I need to know if we would be within Disney's limits.

Also, is it possible to rent points this close to the dates or should I just forget about it? One last question I promise :lmao:. Can you add the deluxe dining plan to a rental reservation and if so when and how? Thanks in advance for any help. :goodvibes

A one bedroom villa at BLT or AKV (non-value villa) will sleep five plus one under the age of three. If all your children are three or older, you'll need a two bedroom villa.

You are purchasing a reservation that a member makes with their points, so you aren't making this reservation with Disney, just an individual. Plus DVC inventory is limited. Most members make their reservations from 7 to 11 months out. If you are looking for something less than 30 days out, you may have a hard time finding a member willing to make that reservation without full payment. Or finding a vacancy.

You are reading the points calculator correctly - you will see the resort, villa type and dates. Points are configured on a nightly basis with Friday and Saturday nights requiring more points than the weekdays.

Some 1 BR villas such as AKV and BLT have an occupancy of 5. The others are an occupancy of 4. You would need a 2 bedroom for a family of 6.

Dining Plans may be added to your ressie, but at leaast 48 hrs in advance and the owner must do that for you.

Since we do not allow discussion of Occupancy on the boards (See Ongoing Discussion Thread stuck on top for a place to discuss this) nor details such as resort, dates, villa types, etc for those interested in seeking rentals, the thread is now closed.

Be sure to visit our Rent/Trade Board for information on those who are offering rentals. Thank you.
