Hi, I am going to disney paris 30th April with my sister I am 21 shes 30 we will be staying at the Dream Castle hotel which looks lovely. Weve never been to the Disney Paris before but been to the Florida one many times so this is all new and hard to plan!

What is the Down Town Disney area like at night I believe they have a night club,, is this good?

Im not sure if the hotel is strictly classed as Disney so can we get the things we buy in the park sent to our room in this hotel like you can in wdw on site?

Any reccomendations for dinner?

and how will the crowds be around that time we are staying for 3 nights and plan to be at Disney for 2 days Iv looked at the weather for that time and seem as it looks ok I thought it might bring bigger crowds then, but its mid week so hoping that will be in our favour.

Any help and any other hints and tips you may have much appriciated. thanks

Hiya -
don't think it will be too crowded then - especially midweek. If you are worried about lines for rides, go midweek and go early -if you are there when the park opens, lines are always short... You can do more in the first couple of hours than you would ever think!!

We liked to eat at Planet hollywood (get a copy of the brit guide for a money off voucher) - also Annette's diner was nice. We did not like the fast food area inside the studios park - don't like the dill mayo on the burgers and stuff.

Don't know about the clubs and stuff - we have kids - nightlife does not exist at the moment!!

Cheers,
Tessa

The first of may is "day of the workers "and I'm afraid it will be very very busy.

My son visited the Hurricans but he wasn't to impressed. He found it “lame”.:rotfl2: He's 20 years.
The drinks are very expensive and its possible you have to pay for entrance to.
I’m not sure about the last. The Disney hotels have free access ,other hotels not I think.

I don't think you can get your purchases sent to the hotel as I think this is only offered to onsite hotels.

The Disney Village is nice, I have never been to WDW so can't compare but there are plenty of shops & a few bars along with the nightclub.

Annette's Diner is a great place to eat, Planet Hollywood is good too. We have also had a nice meal at the Rainforest Cafe Word of warning you cannot make reservations for Annettes Diner or Rainforest Cafe, not sure about Planet Hollywood now as there was a time you couldn't.

Remember if you are ordering burgers in these type of places ask for them to be well done if you don't like your meat red.

As the Dream Castle is not a Disney hotel you do not get access to the on-site guest privliges. Such as EMH, purchases sent back to your hotel, hotel id to charge purchases and meals.

That said it is one of the nicest off-site hotels and served by a frequent free shuttle service :)

great thanks for the replys wasnt to worried about not having the extra stuff aslong as the hotel is nice its alot cheaper to stay at the dream castle which is 4 star to the Santa fe which is the cheapest on site Disney. Glad theres a shuttle so should make it easy enough to get to the parks and the down town disney

Hey im going on the 30th April aswell :)

Prob be going to try out Hurricanes..tho the reviews ive read it that its a bit...erm rubbish lol.

Hmmm Hurricanes...imagine the worst nightclub you have ever been to.. then put in it a complete mix of people (from those there on conventions to teenagers to those who should know better), throw in some bad euro pop and over priced drinks and you pretty much have it.....do not under any circumstances pay for it - unless you have free entry or are completely desparate for a dance then its not worth it. Personally I think it lets the Village down.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao:

I think you can get your purchases sent here. We get ours delivered to the Explorers Hotel which is next door to the Dream Castle ~ I'm sure there was a tick-box for the Dream Castle on the form.

That's good to know :)
