A Few Questions - Gringotts & Size, Transportation

Okay, so it's been a couple of years since I've done Uni Orlando, so I'm thinking of including it on my next trip. I've been wanting to see Diagon Alley, and it seems like the fervor has died down a bit, so I'm ready to do it. Questions though:

For Girngot's ride, my friend who will be coming along is on the larger side, with big shoulders too. How accommodating is this ride? I know last time we went he skipped Dragon Challenge over size concerns (and this was a couple years ago).

I would also be going to WDW. Are there any good transportation tips outside of renting a car? We might stay onsite, or at a place that is walking distance, but we'd need the transfer from WDW to Uni and Uni to Airport (or other way around if we did Uni first).

We're shooting for late April/early May and any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I am also on the larger size, both big and tall. Gringotts has a Lap Bar/Shin Bar for restraints. So, big shoulders won't be a problem. It is more, long legs, big thighs, and big guts that are the problems. With the addition of the Shin Bar, it is a bit more restrictive that Revenge of the Mummy (if your friend rode it on their last trip).

In my opinion, the test seat out front is a bit on the conservative side. I came close but could never get a green light on the test seat by myself. (I used the other test seat to see where the beginning of the green light started and I was 1/2 an inch or so away on my own). I rode 3 times in row 3 (back row of car 1) and didn't need ride OP assistance any time. The back row of both cars supposedly are a bit more forgiving especially for taller big people because of the stadium seating of the cars.

Here's an image from last week so you can compare sizes.

Thanks. I dare say he's a tad larger than you based on that pic. He has ridden The Mummy before without issue, but it was years ago (and not the last trip). It's definitely something I should warn him about at least. I appreciate the advice.

My DH could not fit in the test seat at Gringott's. The guy working there told him not to bother to try to ride it. The rest of us were riding it so he came through the line with us. One of the guys inside told him to try row 6 as it is bigger. He was able to fit in that row fine. He was so glad he tried.
