I was thinking of doing the Linus project through the Oneida NY chapter, as I think that was one of the places you can mail in the blankets. We live in New York state, so that is a close location.
I haven't signed up through the site yet because I had a few questions, and didn't know if I could ask the lady at the phone # listed for pick up, so I figured someone here must have the answers.
:Here goes.....
1. Gotta sign up through the site first.
2. Does someone contact you or do they send you an e-mail?
3. What if you have multi members of your family to participate, can you send the blankets all together or separate? The same with signing up? Do they give a mailing address in the sign up for mailing back?
4. What size blankets do you need to make? Prints or Solids? For Children or Adults?
5. You get about 60 days to complete, right? And it's 2 blankets per person?
I appreciate any and all info that someone can give me. I just don't want to sign up for something until I am sure I can so it. I do sew , so I probably will go with fleece that I can buy from JoAnne Fabrics. Thank you in advance for the info!
