A few questions about Dolphin...

What is the story with the construction? Have they started refurbishing the rooms yet? When do they expect it to be complete?


What can I expect to see out of my window with a standard view room?

Don't know about the construction, although I read a post yesterday that said it had started. We booked a standard view room for last July. I also joined Starwood preferred on the Starwood website. When my reservation appeared on that site, I put in a request for a room on a high floor with an Epcot view. When I checked in, I asked if their was a chance for an upgrade. They noted the request I had made earlier and we were given a room on the 11th floor with a view of MGM, Epcot , and the Boardwalk.

We arrived at Dolphin last Nov. during a busy convention time, had no Starwood points and got the standard room with the view seen below.
