A few problems with Moonlight Magic reservations today.

I’ve been to 3 Moonlight Magic events and have never had a problem booking. Even when they switched to the current process, I’d be waiting at 10 AM and get a number below 100. This morning, I was number 66 in line. When my time came after 4 minutes, I completed the first and second page and pushed “next” to complete the process. Instead, I got an “error” message and to return to the previous page. I tried but couldn’t return, so I started over at 10:08, being number 950. At 10:22, being number 645 by then, the line was put on pause and has been at pause through now, 11:24. During the process, I called DVC and they said that they were just trying to clear the wait and they were not receiving calls about any “errors” popping. She did, however, make notes about my experience and that I would receive a call within the next 5 days to try to resolve the issue, if I couldn’t get a reservation today. I’ll wait another hour but will have to go to work then, where I won’t be able to stay in the reservation line. Anyone else having problems booking today?

How quick did it sell out in past events?

They just resumed the reservation process. I’m at 600, so I’m not very hopeful. They usually sell out in a couple of hours. However, because of the delay, they have only been open for 35-40 minutes.

I had problems on the day the resort reservations opened up. When I got in it told me I didn't have a confirmed resort reservation (which I did and was linked on MDE). Spent 45 min working with Member services and they still don't know what happened. Good luck I hope you got it!

I got all the way to just under 100 in line when a notice popped up that registration to the October 16th event was closed. Since that is the only week that I’ll be in Orlando, I ended my wait in line. A DVC Representative will be calling me sometime in the next 4 days and I’ll explain the situation of being assigned the position of 66 in line at 9 AM and being kicked off while in the process of completing my reservation for October 16th. I’ll post whatever decision the DVC rep makes.
