My various scores on Buzz Lightyear, Ultimately I did not break my personal record of approx 1,950,00 and did not achieve the high score for the day. That was something around 2,400,000. One day I aim to break 2M.

I presume this Space Mountain FP is unlimited use ;-).

And lastly... I'm such a nerd!

How were the crowds in the park? I normally have to go on Disney vacations on the weekends or during heavy crowd times of the year. Would love to go during Halloween time and during the week. That first picture of Main Street is awesome.

How were the crowds in the park?

They were heavy at the rope drop, which made me nervous. However, throughout the day, lines at individual rides weren't bad at all. Even in Fantasyland. I met four Australians in a row. I asked the third if something special was going on but she said there wasn't, as far as she was aware. So, overall: a great day in the park. My brother comes to town in a few weeks and we plan to hit it then. I love taking him around to the various rides and showing him all of the tricks (Fast Passes, single rider and so forth).

Glad you like the Main Street pic :-).

Dude! To be able to see Main Street USA like that....has to be magical. I remember walking into Epcot for an early breakfast back in 2004 and that was the only time I saw an empty park. Cool and weird at the same time. Wishing I had taken some cool pics like you did.

I laughed out loud when I read that, you sounded just like my father, the last time I was at Disneyland my father ran into several different people from I want to say it might have been Australia as well and he asked them the same exact thing. I don't think twice when I see foreigners at Disneyland but maybe that is because I live in a tourist filled city.

Ordinarily I wouldn't have thought anything of it. However, it was four in a row. That is, I met four groups, each one after the other (no one else in between), all Australian. Seemed statistically improbable to me so I had to ask :-). I wondered if perhaps there was some big Aussie holiday that allowed them all to come.

It's the week before school holidays start here, so maybe they're taking the kids out a bit early to get the jump on the wave of Aussies that will descend in another week or two?

If it's a day when they let people in to fill Main Street up to the rope, lots of people get that view. It is quite remarkable to see things so calm and empty in front of you, and jam packed full of people behind you.

Man your trigger finger must be sore after getting that many points lol. But seriously how do you get so many points.....I always find it tough to see where my laser is points half the time.

I don't think I've ever seen characters at a rope drop before! That's cool! Especially those 3! What a nice treat.

Yes, every time I walk off that ride I have to shake my hand. It is rather sore.

Well, there are a few "tricks," although I prefer to think of them as strategies. For example, never shoot at the circle targets. They're simply not worth much. Also, look for/shoot at lighted targets.

Best of luck!

WonkaKid -- So did you use the FP? :)

When we were there in August, we also saw Alice and the Hatter before rope drop -- they were standing almost right next to us! We didn't see the queen that day, though, so lucky you! I think this may have been the day you saw DD16 first in line at PP.

Once or twice ;-).

Yup. Remember it well. That was a good day :-).

Looks like you had a great time. So lucky to be at the front of rope drop. I just can't pull myself out of bed early enough lol.

Yes as Julie stated, some states in Aus started their school holidays on Saturday. We were in Disney 2 weeks ago and chose to go over early to avoid heavy flight loads (we travel standby). Although the US dollar is not great for us, there is still value in US holidays. Holidays here can still be quite expensive to stay in Australia, and our theme parks are nothing in comparision.

We were there yesterday as well and were completely shocked at the low wait times for FL rides! Snow White, Pinocchio, Teacups and Mr. Toad were all posted as 10 minutes but were closer to 5! PP was posted at 30 for most of the day as well.
