We took a quick weekend trip to Disneyland earlier this month, and I wanted to share some pictures from the Minnie and Me Character Breakfast at the Plaza Inn on Main Street.
I highly recommend this breakfast for anyone with little ones, or any age, I suppose! The character interaction was terrific! We saw at least seven characters and every one of them was very playful and really took a lot of time at each table. Our 26-month old grandson was mesmerized by the whole experience!
I also have to say that this was a great age to take our grandson. It was truly a magical experience for him. The look on his face whenever he saw a character or went on an attraction was one of awe. It was so sweet to watch his reactions to everything! We took him to Disney World when he was 17 months old and he loved it then, too. However, I think this time he "got" more of the magic of Disney.
I realized another good reason for taking him at his age when I witnessed a situation that occured behind us while waiting in line to board the Storybook Canal Boats. After waiting for about twenty minutes in line, the three-year old behind us informed his grandparents that he had to go potty. Oh, those are dreadful words to hear seconds before going on a ride!
They had to exit the line and rush the little guy to the nearest restroom. That's when I was glad that our grandson is still in diapers.
Here is Carter, all set to head to Disneyland!
Minnie and Me Breakfast
Minnie kept coming back to our table. She was terrific with Carter!
Dancing with Eeyore
Cute, even though Carter had a mouthful of cereal!
Carter wasn't too sure about this guy!
The breakfast was a great way to start the day at Disneyland!

. Nothing is quite as special as seeing Disney through the eyes of our sweet grands.
