Thanks!!! I have a 50D (first trip to WDW with it this past visit!!!!) and used my 50mm f1.8 on that particular show.

A 50D?? Oh come on. You're not a beginner! These are awesome shots. You shouldn't be nervous about posting here at all. I hope you've been putting in photos from your trip in the contests!

I used my XSi and 30mm f/1.4 for Nemo but didn't sit close enough. I'll probably end up cropping some of mine- I hope they turned out well. I just got back late last night so haven't had a chance to go through anything yet!

I actually wing it quite often with my photos. My DH is quite supportive with my addiction - he upgraded my body from the O.G. Digital Rebel. I still have a long ways to go with knowing what all this camera does. I prefer low light situations, I struggle too much with exposure if there is too much light . Isn't that funny - I have a hard time getting my levels right if there is light.

As for getting close enough, it was pure luck. We got there just as they began filling the theater. It was a yucky rainy day. I just took DDs by the hands and we wandered as close as I could get. Can't wait to see the pics from your trip!

I thought they were great. How is the show? I haven't been back to WDW in several years because we have been going to DL the last three years and the Aladdin play is the best I've seen in a Disney park. I can't wait to get back to the world to see it though.

We didn't hardly video at all on our trip. Of course, since I was the photographer, that left DD10 and DD8 to run the camcorder. You can imagine what type of video we ended up with .

I loved the show. I cried when it was over -- my DDs thought something was wrong. Can't wait to see it again sometime.
