If you are a vet you can participate in the flag retreat at MK. It takes place at around 5 pm. I think you go to Guest Relations in the MK to sign up. They announce who you are and your background. The guest gets a certificate and I guess some photos. It is very nice to watch!

Very nice pictures. The CM in the picture with a Lady and the Tramp fountain in the background - where is that? And maybe it just looks like her, but wasn't she our waitress at the Prime Time in December?? She was really good and had an accent. . .you had a picture made with her.

Krista, that is at Tony's in the MK. Had a late lunch there one day. And yes, that very well is Adrianna (wow, what an eagle eye, Krista!!), I seem to recall the name from when at Tony's (that picture is from '01). Here is Adrianna at Prime Time when we were there, what do you think?.....

TOV, you probably will have a tough time with the sound file on dialup, it is over 3 megs, the pictures themselves are over 12 meg, VERY tough on a dialup.

HEY, I know her!!! The lady on the right, that's Phyllis, I worked with her at Splash, she is one of the sweetest, most hardworking women I've ever met! she actually is recovering from breast cancer (I think) and still manages to make TONS of magic for guests!

My good wishes for Phyllis, she sure gave us smiles that night. Hope she does well in her recovery.

When do they take the flag down and put it up in the MK????? I have never seen that.................also, who was the man in street clothes? Do they pick someone to help?

Rosemary, Tink, Carol pretty much answered above. I posted some pictures a few weeks back from when DIS'er, Judi from Boise's, dad did the flag retreat. I think the thread is trashed now (html) but it is a very moving experience. The one pictured here was about 10 days after 9/11 and was a moment I will never forget. You could hear a pin drop there in the Town Square.

That is definitely the same Adrianna . She is one of the best waitresses I've had at the 50's PT - genuinely friendly, does a good job, not too over-the-top with the "elbows" stuff. I'll have to remember her name and ask for a table in her section next time (one month from now ).
