Compression socks?
Tell me about your favorite compression socks/leggings to help with swelling! PT suggested socks for DX, and me too, to help with foot/ankle pain and swelling. She didn't recommend one brand over another, just suggested that we try a couple of brands. DX has twisted femurs, which throws off their gait and thus their knees ankles and feet.
Ice?
I know that most of the quick serve places hand out ice water, but will they just give us some ice in a cup? DX seems to be getting better relief during the day if she ices 2-3x while in class. They asked if we'll be able to get ice, or bring ice packs. I can get one-time ice packs from our medical supplier, but they are heavy and bulky to carry. But I could also bring a refillable ice bag if I can get ice.
Where do you leave your wheelchair?
I can't remember from the last time we were at WDW what the CMs did with our strollers that were tagged as wheelchairs. For the majority of rides, do you leave it right where you board and it's waiting for you when you return? Since DX can transfer with no issue, will they be required to stay in their wheelchair on the rides that allow guests to remain in their chairs? Where is a good place to park the wheelchair if DX wants to walk for a while (MK & DHS)?
Ride queues with switchbacks?
DX and DS are going to have a lot of troubles with lines with a lot of switchbacks. We're headed to MK and DHS. Which lines should we be aware of ahead of time?
