I knew there would be more questions I'd need to ask lol.

Santa Fe - do they provide hairdryers? Towels? Also what TV channels are there?

Cheyenne Buffet - Need to book in advance? Also what is the best time to eat there?

Also, I can't decide whether to book a Character breakfast for our last day - any opinions? Does this need to be booked in advance or can I decide whilst we're there? I may just book a table for lunch and we can share pizzas :confused3

Last one - we arrive on the direct Eurostar - I think around 1.30pm. We have Disney Express included but I can't decide whether to head over the the Santa Fe before hitting the parks to see if we can check in. Would I be better leaving it until after 3pm? I may even leave it until around 6pm - is there any downside to leaving it that late apart from breakfast slots?

Thanks in advance :goodvibes

no you dont get a hairdryer in your room but you can rent one from reception. if you really need one its best to bring your own

They do provide towels, they are not the biggest but they do the job

The tv channels in english are just the disney channel so be prepared for plenty of hannah montana and wizards of waverly place.

its best to book your meals but you can do that when you arrive if you dont want to ring up before you go

personally i would just book a lunch. it is 14 euros per person if you stay at a disney hotel. i think thats a bit much to be honest.

no hairdryers in the rooms, but plenty of towels and you can ask reception for more. Have no idea really about the tv channels - we always end up on the Disney channel :headache: for the odd half hour or so we have the tv on.

best to book, and as with every other restaurant outside of the parks, quietest time to arrive and get seated etc is just before the main park officially closes.

you can make this decision while you are there, just book it with City Hall or at your hotel.

If you have your park tickets on the Eurostar there is absolutely no point in going to the Santa Fe until the end of your park day, it won't make any difference to your room allocation or your breakfast slot (its a complete scrum at the Santa Fe breakfast any time after 7.45am, and yet that when most uninformed folk still turn up for brekkie. If you want to go at 7.15/7.30 and enjoy your breakfast, it doesn't matter at all what slot you get at check-in, as it will be quiet enough to accommodate you anyway).

hope this helps,

Thanks both :flower3:

Mommy2ash - I also thought it was a bit steep, plus with breakfast being included I begrudged paying on top if you know what I mean?

I want to try and fit Cafe Mickey in - but we also want to do Annettes and try the Cheyenne Buffet. Is the Cheyenne buffet still good?

Towels yes (i always bring a spare one for my hair - dryers not provided but i was glad i brought my own because the ones the NPB provided were useless. TV channels are an intro to DLP in every language and disney channel but i think it may be in french :confused3

Cheyenne Buffet - Need to book in advance? Also what is the best time to eat there? I would book on arrival just incase. its very nice, tasty and good value for money

I would try to book in, we arrived at 11am our last two trips (march and mat 2010) and our rooms were ready, its nice to have the bags out of the way and then spend the whole day in the parks

Thanks in advance :goodvibes

Hope you have a brilliant trip :)

I'm another that would suggest you choose lunch at Cafe Mickey over breakfast. I know lots of people enjoy the character breakfast there but I'd personally rather pay a little extra and have lunch instead.

In the last year we have eaten at the Cheyenne Buffet on 5 seperate occasions, and up to now (touch wood:)) we have all enjoyed it.

We have always booked for 6 o'clock. There is never really any queues untill maybe 20 past. The sign in The Cheyenne says it is reservations only, but you can do that easy enough when your at DLP.

I have 2 daughters who, at times, can be quite fussy about what they eat. I've never had a problem with them eating here. There is such a varied choice, they always fill themselves up. My youngest LOVES her veg, and here she can have some salad. Also, little boiled potatoes, broccoli and best of all carrots. The desserts are a pain for me and hubby though. We like the food here, but have trouble as we like to keep room for the desserts, as there is always at least 4 or 5 we want to eat  I also like that you can get a jug of water and can refill it up at any time.

Also, regarding the Santa Fe, I'm not too sure if it is EVERY room, but we had a small safe in our room in January. I had heard that all rooms were to get these, so it is nice that you don't now have to go to reception to put Passports in their safe.

I have never done the breakfast at Cafe Mickey and probably never will for the exact reason of already having it, plus everyday this week it looked packed and I only saw one or two characters in there for it.
