1. Do they have a dining room to eat in for breakfast? Do you take the food to your room? Can you fill a tray with what you want and go to your room with it? Do they limit how much of something you can take? Specifically if I go down with my MIL to get food can I take food for my whole family (3 Adults and 2 kids) or will each person need to come? Can I take an extra apple or two to take with us to the park for kids, or do I need to buy them at the supermarket?

My family gets up at varied times and if I can go and get their breakfast and bring it back, we will be able to get to the park earlier.

2. How early/late is breakfast served?

3. Where is the closest store to buy food near the MC @ 5055?

4. What is the fastest ways to get to the different parks from MC? Don't mind paying a few cents toll if it makes getting there faster.

Any other specifics you can give me about staying at MC would be great. We are staying in a double bed room as they told me the Suite because of how its set up will not accomondate 2 double beds and a crib. Whereas the dbl bed room will because it has no wall seperating it.

Thanks so much to all who sent me the pics of the hotel. It looks like just what we need.

Hi,
We just got home from the Magic Castle at 5055 Irlo Bronson. Regarding the breakfast: There is no dining room, you can take the food to your room or eat outside at the picnic tables. We preferred to eat outside, so we all went and got our own food but lots of people were taking trays to their rooms for their families. There was always plenty to go around! It is served from 7 - 9am.

We took the free shuttle to the park every day and found it quite convenient. Came back in the evenings on it most of the time, but took the local Lynx bus a couple of times.
We didn't want the hassle of driving and parking and we were pleased to take the bus. The free shuttle bus runs twice in the mornings and twice in the evenings.

There were 6 of us. We got 1 room and 1 suite. It is not fancy, but it is very good value. Most of the people we talked to there were repeat guests, which is always a good sign.

There are a couple of markets within easy walking distance. We bought pop and snacks to have in our rooms.

Have a great trip!
