A few Magic Bands questions...

Since I see the purple that I was hoping for still hasn't come, I'm trying to decide what color band I want. Is the green a bright lime green?

Do your Magic Bands get you into the parking lot or do you still use your resort parking tag?

We're meeting my Florida friend who has an AP and a MB (but who will not have a resort reservation). How do same day FP+ work? Can you choose 3 first thing in the morning? We haven't been to WDW since the fall of 2013 when we had MBs and could still use the old FP machines, so I understand the pre-booking FP+ but not so much the same day process.

It's a bright green. It's not neon or anything.

The resort parking tag gets you into the parking lots at each park. You do use your MB to get into your resort parking lot.

For same day FP+, you go to the kiosk and tap the Magicband or your RFID ticket and select 3 FP+ selections from the available choices. I think AP holders can book FP+ early, but I'm not sure on the timeframe as I am not an AP holder. Maybe someone can answer the AP question.

AP holders can book FP+ at 30 days out.

If you link your friend's MDE account to your MDE, you can preselect everyone's FPs and won't have to worry about same day FPs. All who are listed and linked share the same FP booking window.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one hoping for purple! One of my girls wants pink, the other wants blue... the other colors are way more bland to me so I'm still hoping purple comes out before we go, lol!

After you complete your trip, you can edit your Family and Friends list and remove her.

We did use the MB to get into the resort on the last trip. I did wonder how that would work using the MB to get into parking lots, but I thought that I read that was going to happen. My friend with the AP said that she got her new AP and didn't receive the actual card. I wonder how that will work with free parking?
