A few Halloween/character questions...

Hi.

We'll be in the parks next week....and with the Halloween festivities under way, does anyone know if with the new Fall/Halloween parade, do the characters get off the floats and do meet and greets at all? Like they did with the anniversary train.

Reason I ask...I'm on a mission (and have been for a VERY long time) to find Scrooge McDuck...being that he's on the float, any chance I might see him elsewhere? I know characters can often just be random in general, but I'm trying to maximize our character meetings this trip.

Any thoughts on the best places that characters often appear? Aside from the scheduled ones on the programs or meals...Example: I've often read of the Stars and Cars characters will meet and greet either prior to or after their parade, but we've never ever found them! Are we looking in the wrong places, or wrong times?
Anyone care to clue me in?

Stars in their Cars characters are in the Production Courtyard at the monent between 11-1pm. Its organised and operates a queue system. Its FAB!

For the Villians, they will can be found ar various times in Fantasyland by the Sword in the Stone (where Slerpong Beauty's show used to be).

Don't know about the Cavalcade yet but Kizzy is back tonight and she'll know that one!

We met Scrooge in Cafe Mickey and in the good old Woody's Round Up back in the days! We're hoping to meet the little ducklings ourselves

Scrooge was at the Small World gates and Launchpad in Hotel New York.

Be warned though, I faithfully started walking my hotel round from Cheyenne to Santa Fe to Sequoia over HNY to DLH every morning over 3 years ago. First time ever I met Launchpad.

They also were out in July at the pin event together.

Be warned though, I faithfully started walking my hotel round from Cheyenne to Santa Fe to Sequoia over HNY to DLH every morning over 3 years ago. First time ever I met Launchpad.

When we went for Halloween a few years ago we met Launchpad McQuack in Inventions. He was one of the characters at the buffet.

Trust me on that... when they showed up together at the pin event I almost abandoned my pin bags on the spot. LOL

It was just that difficult to find them. I had met Scrooge twice in summer 2012 (but that was during the same trip within 2 days). That was at the photostop in DLH. Before besides that, nothing. No close misses, just nothing. They were never on the schedules in the hotel, never saw them at the parks, never at any character meal, never at the pin events (and Big Thunder Mountain even had a Scrooge pin).

Launchpad seems to show up only once in a blue moon. He is the "unicorn" for a lot of character fans. Scrooge will be an easy find for about a week and then disappear into oblivion again for the longest time. For him it seems a matter of right timing. I was hoping he'd be out and about more now that he is in the cavalcade, but I haven't heard anything about this so far.

Scrooge, the nephews and Clarabella are only for the Halloween parade, no meet&greets

Might change on Halloween day itself, it's DLRP, you *never* know.

Lol Vala! Well I'm happy that you finally found them and together no less.
I'll continue to hold out hope that I'll be as lucky as you some day...

And that's a bummer that they're only for the parade....

Sadly the Nephews are now only parade characters. They won't be out for meet and greets at all.
