Dear Father Time,
I am asking you to please acknowledge my request. I need more time, mostly on the weekends. So I am asking you yet again to move a little more slowly on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. I'm sure you can make up the difference by making time movefaster Monday-Friday from 7a.m. to 6p.m. Therefore it will not disrupt the flow of life which requires 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a total of 168 hours per week. I just need to change how the time actually flows.

Dear Mother Nature,
Maybe you are not aware of this, but it is September - actually it is mid September. Yet here in St. Louis it is still over 90 degrees. I don't know about you, but September use to mean cooler days, warm cider, and bratwurst on the grill before a football game. Right now we could cook the brats on the pavement outside the dome. Please make it cooler! My Air conditioning and electric bill could use a break.
While you are at it - could you knock it off with the Hurricanes. We understand - your pissed at the way you've been treated. I'm working on a Greenpeace conference right now!
