A few Flying Fish observations

I liked the new décor--a bit more upscale. The Chefs Counter is now gone--but there are some tables right next to the Chefs area which might be acceptable to some as a replacement. Gone are the Snapper and the excellent char crusted NY strip. The Wagyu filet I had wasn't all that great--especially for the price.

As always we dined at the bar--bartenders were excellent as usual!!

I agree, love the new decor!

I miss my menu favorites too, esp the mussels appetizer (which was a meal for me). Dh really missed the snapper. Dd didn't have any problems with new menu.

No doubt we will dine there again, but we're now in search mode for our new favorite menu items.

The new menu isn't "speaking" to me, and I don't think it's because I liked the old one so much.

I missed the old one greatly but had one of the best meals of the entire trip this past trip. The server Nadia might have been the best server we had the entire trip.

Wine Pairings (mostly chardonnays with the above)
S'mores Dessert
Under the Sea Dessert
Dessert Wine Flight
Scotch Flight plus one half pour of EH Taylor Single Barrel
