As a side note, my kids are 12 and 13 now but we took them on Ellens Adventure at around 8 and 9 and they really enjoyed it. Now they will fake a nap (at least I think they are faking)

It depends on your 5 & 7yo as to if Ellen's Energy Adventure and Circle of Life work. EEA is long, and has some Dinosaurs in it. My DD6 wouldn't enjoy it. She was also bored as a 5yo for circle of Life. However both are a nice cool break (with seating) on a hot muggy day.

There are 2 Friendship Boats that will take you across the World Showcase Lagoon. These locations are: Mexico side WS Plaza to Germany, and Canada side WS Plaza to Morocco. Please note: it's longer than walking but a nice break if tired or you have mobility troubles.

As for EEA and COL, all subjective. My 7 year old would be bored to tears. But then she likes all rides over shows.

Ellen's Energy Universe and Circle of Life were boring for me, DH, and DS6. However, Ellen's is a great place to take a nap Long bench, dark, AC, and long ride. I would consider doing them at least once though.

I enjoy Ellen's universe of energy, but make sure you don't have to go to the bathroom before going on. You're committing to like 30 minutes in total. There's never really a line, you're just waiting in the pre show.

Don't miss th pre show though. It's really funny

Ellen is great for an AC off your feet break that is kind of funny.

I always get choked up at Circle of Life! It's so touching!! Great LION KING music although the message seems a tad bit hypocritical coming from the largest resort builder in the world lol but I still like the movie and Disney of course.
Also, as lame as I find Figments ride, I actually had a blast with my friend this week, and we have been singing EE MAAAAGGG IN AAAAATION¡!!!! ever since!

Does anyone know what time the boats stop running to set up for illuminations?
