We are trying to decide if the counter service plan will be worth it or not..Any insights on people who have used it before? Also, Can you get a smart water as your drink with a meal? Or is it the cheaper price water on the menus.

If everyone in your family wants their own dessert (mostly pre-packaged type things, but you can find some good ones) and drinks soda/coffee/tea or bottled water at EVERY meal, then you'll probably at least break even with the plan. You'll need to do a little research to find the better and higher priced QS entrees, but it can be done without too much trouble. Be aware that your one child will not have many different options and the kids' meals are pretty small.

Does anyone know what the tax rate is for counter service?

If you plan to search for the most expensive CS meals each day and worry about maximizing the value, then yes you could save a small amount of money.

If you want to eat wherever you are, choose the meal you want and not have dessert every time you will usually save money by paying OOP.

Even at break even, wouldn't you rather eat where and what you want instead of restricting yourself to the plan? Do the math out to verify. A normal CS meal is $8-12 based on the menu's. There are more expensive one, but you would have to restrict yourself to eat them every day. If you assume 2 CS and a snack with drinks at meals would be about $35-38/day OOP for each person (with dessert), it would be less expensive than the meal plan. I would say to do the math and see if it works out for you.

I don't remember if Smart water is included, I doubt it since it is usually considered a premium product.

You can absolutely order a smart water as your beverage. You are free to order whichever beverage you would like. You are not limited to certain beverages. I ordered a slew of smart waters from all over the world last week, and my hubby enjoyed plenty of iced coffee's. :)
