There are no reservations taken. Every time I've waited it's been about 45 minutes. Children are allowed, but only at tables. They are not allowed at the bar, so you may have a bit of an extra wait with them.

Plenty of kids will eat the food they have at Cove. Nachos, sliders, spinach and artichoke dip, etc.

Wow this place has really changed and obviously grown in popularity in the last 2 years( last time I ate there)! I keep reading about the crazy lines which was not at all the case the last time...guess we were lucky! The lobster nachos are sooo worth it tho....I daydream about them. Lol!

There is a line every single time we walk by regardless. I would suggest lining up about 1/2 hour before they open.

Actually, we were there on Thursday afternoon and there was no wait for anyone willing to sit in the sun. There was a 30-45 minute wait for shade. So the best answer I have for you is, on a hot day with lots of sunsceen.

It always has a 45+ wait no matter what time you go. I would recommend showing up around 10:30am, they open at 11am. You will get seated right when they open, this has always been our best bet, done it multiple times. That would make the wait time shorter than the regular 45+ minutes.

Sadly they don't do reservations! Good luck, it's worth the wait IMO!

Sometimes they'll ask for your phone number so you can do other things and other times you have to wait in line. The time they were taking phone numbers the wait was at least an hour, but the Lobster Nachos are worth the wait.

I wish that had happened to me! All the times I've been there you had to just stand there and wait in the line. I've been there when it was 100 degrees and it's brutal.

I guess it was the "be sure" part that got me. I've been there with kids that will eat the food no problem. Just depends on the kids.

We arived at between 11:15 and 11:30 and there was no wait at all. It has gotten a lot better since they more than doubled the size.

We went in August around 4pm. We agreed to the shortest wait (a table in direct sun when it was 100+) and waited about 20 minutes.

I've been here before, but never with kids. Does anyone know if your whole party is required to wait in line or can one person wait while others are on rides? We will be with two little ones and it would be great if one adult can wait while the kids are busy doing something else.
