A & E with DAS

I tried to get fast pass last night for A & E with no luck. Does anyone know if we do qualify for a DAS is it possible to use for A&E?

A friend of mine just got back used it for A&E however she said that on he first day they where going to do it the line was very long and would have tied up the DAS for quite a while. The next day they went at opening and got a return that was within the hour. She said when they returned the CM at the fastpass told them they are not allowed to use DAS there, but once she argued that they would not have given them a return time if they where not allowed they where let in.

Our plan is to get a return time when we head to lunch before DD and I go take a break at the hotel. I figure even if it's a long DAS time it should be over by the time we need the DAS again since we have a FP ride and Dumbo planned for when we come back so won't need the DAS for those.
TP is estimating 47 minutes for that time frame on our MK day right now, don't know how accurate that will be to the posted wait time on the actual day, but that should have us able to use the DAS pass for it at will when we get back to the Park

According to the DAS FAQ sticky,
"DAS holders will not be able to use DAS for Celebrity Autographs or most Character Meet & Greets (this is consistent with the way GACs worked)
DAS holders will be able to get Return Times for Character Meet & Greets that have Fastpass or Fastpass Plus".

People have used DAS for the Anna & Elsa meet and greet. The downside is that it can tie up your DAS for a very long time because of the wait time.

This is a great plan! A nice rest break and lunch beats a long wait in the park.

I'm am going to try and get a fast pass for Anna & Elsa. They are really the only characters my kids care about lol. If so some reason I can't get the fast pass I am hoping to get a DAS again for my son like we did last time, so it's nice to know that we will be able to use it at this m&g

I got a DAS return time for A&E yesterday. They were very nice about it. The timing worked out great...the standby was just about an hour. I got the return time just before the FOF parade, watched the parade, then we went to the M&G. On a related note, I'm going to cancel our FP for it and SDMT for this Saturday. We also rode SDMT with DAS, and DS didn't like it, so I'm not keeping the FP.
