A&E ticketed breakfast event?

I had a cousin that took his family this week to see A&E at DW at a Princess Breakfast. Being the "DisneyWorldGuru" of the family I thought maybe they went to CRT and THEN saw A&E and asked how long they stayed in line. Nope, I was told, they saw A&E at a "special breakfast" that was "very hard to get into"



Okay I'm not an A&E fan but I've been on the board daily for the past few weeks doing final planning for SWW and I'm sure I would've seen something like that posted here...

I've searched here and googled around and found a few private events but they're all for in the fall.

I'm hearing this second hand so my information might be faulty but does anyone have any idea of what my cousin went to?

Either a breakfast of lies or confusion. LOL! I haven't heard about it (but I'm not anybody.) Been on here a lot though and haven't seen anything like this except us WISHING!! Not sure I would want that breakfast though, would probably be a madhouse but maybe it would lessen the line.

Heh, I should point out I'm hearing this via his mom to my sister to me - They're not the types to lie but they would... embellish.

OTOH, the entire reason my cousin drove 2 days to DW for the very first time was for this breakfast just to see A&E! So I'm somewhat inclined to believe the story. (and facepalming that A&E have that much powa!)

My thoughts exactly. But I'm thinking it might've been a private corporate event (Cousin's wife works for a large company)

There is an evening with Anna & Elsa in August at the Living Seas (was originally to be at Norway, but a larger space became necessary). It is a private ticketed function, hosted by a Travel Agency that many of us here on the boards are booked with.

This is the one that I was thinking of when I read the post. Unless I am misreading it, this one is coming up in October. It hasn't happened yet but as you said it makes it seem possible. This one is Wonder Retreat in Epcot which I had to google to figure out what it is.

I only looked at the date in the title and the link.. it was super slow loading on my PC so I wasn't 100% sure if it had happened or not but it finally loaded after I posted.

Couple thoughts;

1) DL California is rumored to have an A&E breakfast soon (Likely in DCA)
2) Folks use to book a breakfast to get into the park early... (Not sure if that still a valid strategy)

I know of at least one travel angency that is offering a special breakfast with Elsa and Anna this fall.
