A&E, PP & SDMT without fast passes?

I'm helping some friends plan a last minute trip to Disney. No fast passes for A&E or SDMT. They don't really have time to keep checking for cancellations. They have 1 day in the MK and meeting Anna & Elsa is very important. Thankfully, they have a pre-park opening breakfast at BOG. I told them to finish breakfast before 9am and go directly to A&E.

They also want to ride Peter Pan (no morning fast passes are left). I'm assuming that by the time they are finished with A&E, the Mine Train AND Peter Pan will both be packed, correct? Are they better off just doing Cinderella/Rapunzel now and hope to do SDMT or Peter Pan late at night? Since they only have 1 MK day, they don't want to wait too much time in lines and would probably skip rides instead of waiting in long lines.

Thanks, all. Just trying to plan their morning wisely. :)

Tough situation. They pretty much asked for the 3 attractions with the longest waits in MK, and only have 1 day to do them and don't want to wait in long lines. All I can advise is that they pick the most important one to them and do it immediately after leaving BOG, and hope for the best with the other 2. I agree waiting until near park close is the next best option to ride those with the shortest waits.

In their situation, I'd go in order of what they can get done the quickest. So I'd have them do 7DMT right after breakfast (and make sure they're out of the restaurant by 8:40), then pop over to Peter Pan, and then get in line for A&E. They might not beat the entire RD crowd to A&E, but at least they'll have two of the three done and their A&E wait shouldn't be that bad.

I might switch the order of Peter Pan and A&E for the sole reason that the PP line is interesting and the standby line for A&E is torture. If I had to stand in a 60 minute line for one of those two, it would be PP. But never having actually done what is being asked in the OP, I have no first-hand experience as to which order is the most time efficient. Perhaps Touring Plans might shed some light on that.

It is a toss-up, but I think your way is more ideal. In this post http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorize...gdom-morning-touring-over-spring-break-32715/ they did 7DMT immediately after BOG, then Pooh, then PP, but didn't do A&E. A lot of how long the OPs friends will wait depends on when the trip is- and whether it is early EMH. The advice by a PP to be out of BOG by 8:40 at the latest is probably the biggest key- as if they wait until just before 9 things might go downhill very quickly.

Well tell your friends good luck. I went for years trying to get on Peter Pan before fast pass and never could without waiting a long amount of time in line. I just went on it the first time back in April because I had a fast pass.

Thanks to everyone for all the fantastic input! To give a little more info, my friends will be there in mid October, on a MNSSHP day. It is not an EMH morning. Their BOG ressie is at 8:10am. I'm thinking of just eliminating SDMT from the morning equation altogether. The kids don't like roller coasters, and I'm not confident if they'd feel brave enough to do SDMT so early in the day. They can think about it that day, and maybe try to do it at the party that night.

I was able to do standby on PP in 2013. Skipped it last year for some reason. (I think it might have been down?)

I was able to grab a FP for my upcoming trip after I read this thread. So there may be hope.
