A DVC-AP scenario -- can i do this?

hi ... we're new DVC memebers and we've booked a 2-bd SSR for 8 nites in early dec. 2005

we've an assortment of family coming and going over the 8-nites ... grandma for 4nites, in-laws for another 4, bil and sil for 7 nites ... somehow we managed to make just about everybody happy ... but now the monkey-wrench ...
in-laws want to come for first 4-nites too ...cant stay with us ... are totally willing and able to pay their own way

i will have a brand-spanking new AP ... IF there is an AP rate available for those 4-nites can i book and pay for their room?
will they need an AP to get that rate if i pay for it?
if so ... can i pay in full over the phone?
or do i need to physcially check them in?

how do reservations work ? if they show up with their ids and the accounts if maked "paid" will they be able to check in of they personally don't have an AP?

You will have to make the reservation in your name. THE AP Discount requires that the passholder stay in the room (Officially). Also there is a limit to how many rooms can be booked per AP, but I dont know what that is. I did book a couple of rooms for a couple of nights last week at Port Orleans to round off our OKW trip at the end of Feb, the rate was $104.00 per night.

As stated, it will need to be in your name and you will also need to check them in and present your AP.
