A dreaded ticket question...

I purchased 4 10-day park hooper tix from UT for our August trip. We just realized that we will be traveling to Orlando again in July of 2016. Can I upgrade those tix to AP's when I go in August?

Thank you!

Easy use the ticket once then upgrade it. I think there is a sticky but that is how to do it.

1. Ditto.
2. Sorry, but there is no longer a "Ticket Sticky."

Just did this a couple of weeks ago. Just make sure you use them at least once, but don't wait until you've used the last day! And double check the current cost of a 10 day PH before you go to guest services so you can see that they bridge the price--giving you credit for the current price when you upgrade. We went to Guest Services at Epcot's IG. I read of someone going to MK and not getting the current price-they only got the credit for what they paid.

1. You CAN upgrade a fully-used-up ticket.
The LATEST you can do so is before close of bushiness ON the same day that you used that ticket's last asset.

2. It doesn't matter where you choose to do the upgrade, because of the great amount of random chance of just
which CM you will encounter at any given day, at any given time, at any given ticket booth or Guest Relations.
Just be armed with the exact cost that you know is the correct upgrade price.
Just ask for your original ticket back and don't accept the deal if quoted some other amount.

Thanks for clearing that up, Robo! I thought you had to do it before you used that last day. Also, great advice for dealing with the cost:)

Beware the end of shrubbery! LOL

YES.

December 2010 I upgraded a ticket from Undercovertourist to a DVC AP without a single issue at AK guest relations just inside the park. One month later another Dis'er encountered massive problems at the exact same location doing the same scenario which resulted in a HUGE thread and weeks of discussion, and getting UndercoverTourist to contact WDW etc.

All the yesses.

Don't get into anything protracted. Don't ruin your day. Take it back, move along, go elsewhere. :) IF there's a problem. Which there probably won't be.
