Not a whole lot of "Walt's vision" going on in the Disney parks now. Surely they could find a creative way to build a 5th gate/thrill park around the IP.

Walt's vision, and still the Walt Disney Company's vision for the parks, is a place where all family members can enjoy things together. A thrill ride park would not fit that vision, as many members of the family (very old or very young, persons with disabilities, etc.) would not be able to ride the majority of the attractions. Sure, there are a small number of attractions in Disney parks that are not appropriate for all members, but the parks as a whole can be enjoyed by everyone. Leave the "thrill parks" to Six Flags and other companies.
